The 2009 Narrative Conference, taking place on June 4th - June 6th, is an interdisciplinary forum addressing all dimensions of narrative theory and practice. The conference is sponsored by The University of Birmingham and the International Society for the Study of Narrative.

 

News:

  • Abstacts on Panel Title list is now available on 'Schedule' page.
  • Schedule: Updated versions of the 'Schedule' and 'Panel Title List' are now available for download.      Delegates will need to check the 'Schedule' and the 'Panel & Title' lists on a regular basis, as there may still be minor changes up to the conference date.

  • Special Panel on Genette: added to the schedule.

  • Late Registration Fee Extension: till 15th April 2009

  • Online Registration is now OPEN. Please go to the 'Registration' page.

  • Dataprojection Facilities: All rooms will have dataprojectors if you wish them for Powerpoint presentations, please make sure that you consult the 'Tech Specs' document, and tailor your presentation to the guidelines set out there. All rooms will NOT have audio facilities, unless they are ALREADY been requested.

  • Conference Publications:

There will be two special editions of journals coming out of the conference.

1) Narrative the journal of the International Society for the Study of Narrative.

2) Popular Narrative Media (September 2009)
